Rykers new trick

This week Ryker has figured out he has feet. He has been trying for the last little while to grab them, but just has not been able to keep a hold of them. Now he can! Any time that he lays down to be changed or have a bath he grabs a hold and won't let go. You have to pry his fingers off just so you can do what you need to. He is such a sweet boy and we love watching him learn all of these new things. We love him very much.

I came into the bedroom this morning to find Jared and Ryker just hanging out in the bed. Ryker likes to lay down on my pillow next to his dad after he wakes up in the morning. He likes to squeal and kick his legs under the covers and lately he likes to eat the covers.

Happy Mother's Day!

For Mother's Day we had a lunch at Grandma Elaine's house and dinner at Grandma Olsen's house. Ryker has the best grandmas. They love him so much and he always has a great time with them. We didn't get a picture of Grandma Elaine.

Congrats to Steph and Rob

As most of you know my sister Stephanie got engaged to Rob while they were on vacation in Newport Beach. We are all so excited for them and for Rob, Glenda, Logan, and Sydney to join our family. Here is a picture of her gorgeous ring too!

Our day at the zoo

For Mother's day Jared, Ryker and I went to the zoo for "Mom and Me." This was Ryker's first time. As you can tell from the picture he was just having a blast! It was a little windy and he didn't want to wear his hoodie, but we eventually got it on and he stopped crying. Ryker was able to follow the camels walking around and the monkeys who were swinging. We realized it is a lot more fun going to the zoo when you have a baby!

About us...

I guess everyone starts out their blogs telling about how they met. Jared and I met October 30, 2003 through my cousin (now sister-in-law) DeniLeigh. We went on our first date to Chris LeDoux November 1, 2003, got engaged February 14, 2004, and married on August 21, 2004. There it is in a nut shell. This year we were blessed with the birth of our little boy, Ryker Jared Neville on January 26, 2008. Hope you enjoy!
